Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. ‘Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you. He determines the number of the stars; he gives to all of them their names. Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure. It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power. Your right hand, O Lord, glorious in power, your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy. I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Would you like to pray with us? "Now we are all here before God to hear everything the Lord has commanded you to tell us." Peter began to speak: “I really understand now that to God every person is the same. In every country God accepts anyone who worships him and does what is right. You know the message that God has sent to the people of Israel is the Good News that peace has come through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Lord of all people! You know about Jesus from Nazareth, that God gave him the Holy Spirit and power. You know how Jesus went everywhere doing good and healing those who were ruled by the devil, because God was with him. We saw what Jesus did in Judea and in Jerusalem, but the Jews in Jerusalem killed him by hanging him on a cross. Yet, on the third day, God raised Jesus to life and caused him to be seen, not by all the people, but only by the witnesses God had already chosen. And we are those witnesses who ate and drank with him after he was raised from the dead. He told us to preach to the people and to tell them that he is the one whom God chose to be the judge of the living and the dead. All the prophets say it is true that all who believe in Jesus will be forgiven of their sins through Jesus’ name.” While Peter was still saying this, the Holy Spirit came down on all those who were listening. The Jewish believers who came with Peter were amazed that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been given even to the nations. These believers heard them speaking in different languages and praising God. Then Peter said, “Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we did!” So Peter ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus is speaking to you from the Bible. Will you believe what he says? "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this? “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. “Believe in God; believe also in me. "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life." Dear friend, Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household. To all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent. Would you like to pray with us? Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe. Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.” Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation. AMEN! Would you like to pray with us? Need some guidance for the new year? Here are 12 Bible verses for 2023! Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans! What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Would you like to pray with us? Would you like to receive a gift from Jesus himself? Here's what our Lord Jesus said in the Bible at the end of his time on earth… "When the Father sends the Comforter in my name—and by the Comforter I mean the Holy Spirit—he will teach you much, as well as remind you of everything I myself have told you. “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid. “I am the true Vine, and my Father is the Gardener... He prunes those branches that bear fruit for even larger crops. He has already tended you by pruning you back for greater strength and usefulness by means of the commands I gave you. Take care to live in me, and let me live in you. For a branch can’t produce fruit when severed from the vine. Nor can you be fruitful apart from me. “Yes, I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in me and I in him shall produce a large crop of fruit. For apart from me you can’t do a thing… If you stay in me and obey my commands, you may ask any request you like, and it will be granted! My true disciples produce bountiful harvests. This brings great glory to my Father. “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Live within my love. When you obey me you are living in my love, just as I obey my Father and live in his love. I have told you this so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your cup of joy will overflow! “You didn’t choose me! I chose you! I appointed you to go and produce lovely fruit always, so that no matter what you ask for from the Father, using my name, he will give it to you. “I will send you the Comforter—the Holy Spirit, the source of all truth. He will come to you from the Father and will tell you all about me." From John 14-15 TLB Would you like to pray with us? Join our group for prayer facebook.com/groups/jesu.wymkr

What's the most powerful weapon you can use as a Christian if you come under attack? Let's learn from the Bible! A vast army from several enemy nations was marching to attack God's people. Alarmed, their king prayed publicly in front of the entire nation, “Lord, you rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you. God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” The Spirit of God responded, "Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow march down against them. You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you." As they set out the next morning, the king said to his people, "Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful." He appointed singers to go ahead of the army, praising the Lord by saying, "Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever." As they praised God, the Lord set ambushes against their enemies. The enemy nations started fighting against each other, completely destroying each other. When God's people arrived, all they had to do was collect the equipment, clothing and valuables their enemies had left - so much that they took three days to collect it all! Dear friend, is there an enemy coming against you? Do not be afraid or discouraged. Pray and strengthen yourself in the Lord, then go out to fight the enemy with praise. Praise the Lord, for he will fight for you! The bigger the enemy, the bigger the plunder, so stay in peace and Praise The Lord! Would you like to pray with us? Are you about to be wiped out by a large enemy? Are you outnumbered, unarmed and overwhelmed? You can still win! In Bible times, God's people were under attack by a well-armed and much larger enemy - and they were completely unarmed! Only Jonathan the prince, and his dad the king had swords. The only thing keeping them alive was a deep ravine between them and their enemies. 80% of their men had already deserted, knowing that they faced certain defeat within days! But young Jonathan believed they could win, and he decided to attack the enemy all by himself! Deliberately exposing himself to the enemy, he crossed to them in broad daylight. The enemy troops watched and laughed, shouting, “Come up to us and we’ll teach you a lesson.” Jonathan climbed up the cliff on hands and feet, and killed 20 men of the waiting enemy. Jonathan's bravery so inspired the Israelites that by the end of that day they had defeated all their enemies with God's help! What can we learn? Don't accept defeat! When you're under attack, first win the battle in your mind. Say like Jonathan did, even if you're still unsure of God's will, “Come, let’s go over… Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few.” Jonathan wasn't sure, but he started moving by faith! Stay open to God's leading! Pray as you go, like Jonathan who said, “We will cross over toward them and let them see us… If they say, ‘Come up to us,’ we will climb up, because that will be our sign that the Lord has given them into our hands.” Jonathan waited for God's approval, even though he was anxious to win! Dear friend, what are facing today? Take courage and step forward in faith! Pray and wait for God's signal, and be assured, "Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few." Did you know that God is so serious about his laws that he provides us a way to fulfil them all? In the Bible, we see that God is serious about the laws he gave us for right living. God's laws contain blessings and punishments - and they never change. "For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished." Matthew 5:18 Jesus tells us that every word of God's law will be fulfilled! "Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:19 Jesus also teaches that God will honour those that honour his laws! "For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:20 Jesus shows us that following all the rules isn't enough - God expects us to be perfect! “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfil them." Matthew 5:17 Did you read that carefully? Jesus came to earth to meet all the requirements of God's laws! He fulfilled them ALL! Dear friend, when we believe in Jesus, his righteousness is given to us as a gift, and we put on his perfection and right standing with God. Then God sees us just as he sees Jesus - someone who has fulfilled every word of the law! What a wonderful gift God has given us in Christ Jesus. Thank you Lord! Would you like to pray with us?
