Psalms 56:3-4(KJV)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe. Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.” Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? We pray for those who will be preaching and teaching that you will give them guidance in all that they say, and that the listeners will receive with joy and thanksgiving. Thank you for the blessings that you have prepared for us, well before we were even born, you knew us. Thank you for every opportunity to pray and talk to you. Thank you for every breath, every heartbeat and every meal. Thank you for our home in Heaven in our home here in this world. Thank you for the hope that you have given us, not a hope so but it expectation and a knowledge of what is to come, that you have revealed through your Holy Word. Father we are thankful for our friends and families throughout the world. Father we pray for those who are going through trials due to recent storms, political unrest and other difficulties, please help them that they can pass through these difficult times. We pray for those who are experiencing the new virus that is spreading, and is making many people sick. We pray for health physically and spiritually. We pray for those who are battling cancer and other diseases, we know that you have the power to heal and we pray for your intervention in their sicknesses and cure them. We pray for protection and guidance against the evil one who is seeking to hinder us. We pray Father for wisdom, knowledge and guidance so that we might do your will and please you in every way. Help us to be a special blessing to someone today and every day. We pray for peace throughout the world, between our families and nations and within our families and nations. We pray in the wonderful, holy and healing name of our loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

Devotional by Derek Prince. How to Overcome Fear Psalm 56:3–4 When I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? One thing I’ve always loved about the Bible since I came to know it is its honesty. It faces facts, it pictures life as it is, it knows us in our weakness. The psalmist does not say boldly, “I’ll never be afraid.” He says, “Sure, there will come times when I may be afraid; but when I’m afraid, I know what to do. I’ll trust in God. I’ll trust in the Word of God, the unfailing Word of God, the sure promises of God.” You see, in the spiritual life often there is a conflict between two areas of our being. In our emotions we go through all the feelings of fear, maybe of panic, it grips us. But there’s another area of our being – the spirit – that will not yield to panic, that does not accept the dictates of the emotions. It says, “I’ll not accept the verdict of my emotions about this situation. I’ll turn to God; I’ll remember what the Word of God says. I’ll find the promise of God that meets my need. And though in my emotions I may feel fear, in my spirit I trust. And that trust brings me into a security, a peace, and a confidence that’s much deeper than my emotions. The emotions are just like the waves on the surface, but deep down in the spirit, in the depths of our being, there is settled peace and confidence.
