I know it’s a late update, but we are just getting home from Memphis. I want to share something I didn’t share back in January when Tate was in ICU at LeBonheur hospital. I did share that Tate was very sick, but what I didn’t share was the depth of the sickness and what the neurosurgeon said. After he saw the MRI that was taken at the hospital, he very bluntly said ”It’s not likely he will make it through this. Have you talked about this with his doctor?” I told him no. And I’m glad St Jude never asked did we want a prognosis. We are very capable of googling and seeing the survival rate. We also saw where the cancer is only 1% likely to appear where it did and it makes the already bad prognosis worse. But you see, we didn’t put our faith in the doctors, even though we are very thankful for them. We prayed over and over and over for complete healing and we know Tate has an entire village praying for him, as well. I’ve claimed complete healing in Jesus name and nothing less than complete healing and I’ve rebuked Satan away from him and our family. With that said, today’s results wasn’t what the doctor was expecting. It takes days or weeks of treatment before DNA is damaged enough for cancer cells to die. Then, cancer cells keep dying for weeks or months after radiation therapy ends. The MRI was 4 days after his last radiation. See the results below. The two top scans are from yesterday vs the two bottom scans at the end of January. I believe it’s a miracle straight from God! The doctor didn’t want to hype it up ”too much” because of the statistics of the cancer and he reminded me that it’s a “beast” but the results were amazing. Tate will go back in approximately 4 weeks for another MRI and will be starting chemo. I am going to ask every one of you, PLEASE continuing to pray and speak complete healing over Tate in Jesus name! #faithoverfear 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. John 14 12 While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” 13 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him. 05 December 2022 Monday of the Second week of Advent The Gospel of the Day Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 5,17-26. One day as Jesus was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem, and the power of the Lord was with him for healing. And some men brought on a stretcher a man who was paralyzed; they were trying to bring him in and set (him) in his presence. But not finding a way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on the stretcher through the tiles into the middle in front of Jesus. When he saw their faith, he said, "As for you, your sins are forgiven." Then the scribes and Pharisees began to ask themselves, "Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who but God alone can forgive sins?" Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them in reply, "What are you thinking in your hearts? Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise and walk'? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins''--he said to the man who was paralyzed, "I say to you, rise, pick up your stretcher, and go home." He stood up immediately before them, picked up what he had been lying on, and went home, glorifying God. Then astonishment seized them all and they glorified God, and, struck with awe, they said, "We have seen incredible things today." 《The Gospel of the Lord 》 #OurLadyOfLourdes #BlessedVirginMary #DevineMercy #praytherosary #Godislove #bibleverseoftheday #readings #dailyreflections #bibleverse #biblequotes #psalms #3oclockPrayer #healing #healingprayer #gospel #quotes #catholiclife #SaintsOfTheDay #catholicism #motivation #GospelAndSaintsDaily #catholic

Asbury University Revival: Smarts and Cynics If you haven’t heard, there is a revival happening is at Asbury University. For over a week now, there have been nonstop chapel services, with praise and worship, and what many describe as an overwhelming feeling of God’s Presence. It sounds amazing. There have been stories of healings, demons being cast out and people repenting of their sins. In Ephesians 2:1 says “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ While the story should spark happiness and joy, particularly by believers; instead it’s sparked controversy and criticism. Why? Well simply people want to know what’s really going on down there. Is this of God or not? Are people being awakened from their sins? Are people confessing and repenting? Or is it just a ten day concert/worship experience. This isn’t an argument about a concert; people are trying to validate the claim of revival taking place. What feels funky to me, is that it’s not unbelievers, but believers and leaders that have been highly skeptical. #Cynics I’ve read comments and seen videos of many cynics of this revival. The question about confession and change comes up quite often. The question for many is, where is the fruit of this so called revival. I’ve heard this same statement from a lot of leaders. My question would be, who puts a seed in the ground and expects crops over night? #JesusShowsUs There is a saying and thought in the charismatic church, that first we must catch the fish and then start cleaning. And I believe this is the model Jesus shows us. Here’s what I find in scripture. In the gospels we see, almost an immediate call and response when Jesus calls the disciples… “Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ But in the gospel of Luke we get a little more fullness and background to this call and response. In Luke 4 we see that Jesus heals Peter’s mother in law. In Luke 5 we read this… “So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret, and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ #PlantingSeeds The reason I like the sequence in Luke is because it gives us some clarity on how Jesus was planting seeds via experience and teaching with those He would eventually call. Ultimately it comes to a culmination of Jesus calling the disciples and them responding because of the relationship built by Christ. #Revival Is it revival? I’d say so. People choosing to be in the presence of God for days opposed to doing other things is a huge deal. Why diminish it? Why compete with it? I’ve heard preachers say they have revival every Sunday at their church. That’s great. So why can’t we celebrate people coming together at Asbury. #Fruit The fruit of this revival may take time to see. The reality is whatever is happening there maybe happening in other places, it’s just not as concentrated. “Then the Lord came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied, although they never did so again. But two men had remained in the camp: the name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad. And the Spirit rested upon them. Now they were among those listed, but who had not gone out to the tabernacle; yet they prophesied in the camp.” ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭11‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Here, God has 70 elders prophesy and then they never did again. There were also two men that should have been there but weren’t, but God reached them where they were. My point; celebrate what God is doing in Asbury. The reality is some who experienced it may never feel God like that again. But nevertheless God moved. For others, the ripple effects of that move may reach your church, with people feeling a renewed passion and commitment to Jesus. If so, welcome it. #SmartsAndCynicism I’ve noticed the smarter people become in regards to the word, the more cynical they become; questioning everything God does and seeing if it lines up with their systematic theology. I’ve been there many times over the years. One article I read, said the gospel wasn’t preached because Christ was mentioned once but the cross wasn’t and neither was sin. So imagine how strong God had to move to hear a message that wasn’t about sin, convict people to repent of sin and submit to God. I have a long way to go in my studies so I’m not going to say the skeptic was incorrect in his critique. But the Bible tells us that the word is alive. (Hebrew 4:12) If Jesus is preached even a little bit, doesn’t that word have the power to change? I believe our prayer should be the same that Jesus prayed for His disciples. That they would bear fruit and that their fruit would remain. My prayer is that those who are being called into relationship would bear the fruit of repentance and then building God’s kingdom in the capacity they’ve been called too! My hope is that if this is of God, that it spreads and calls people to Jesus again! Just my thoughts!
