GOD the FATHER created ALL THINGS by and for JESUS CHRIST (Genesis 1:1-31). “[ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM]; and [WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT ANYTHING MADE THAT WAS MADE]” (John 1:3). We must ALL celebrate CHRISTMAS because of GOD’s Love to human beings who give us HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON that we may obtain the LIGHT OF LIFE required to for LIFE FOREVER in the World Without End (John 1:1-4): “That whosoever [BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD] not perish, but [HAVE ETERNAL LIFE]” (John 3:15). “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. [FOR AS IN ADAM ALL DIE, EVEN SO IN CHRIST SHALL ALL BE MADE ALIVE]” (1 Corinthians 15:21–22). “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17). “He that [BELIEVETH ON HIM IS NOT CONDEMNED]: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18). God created human beings in His Own image by His Only Begotten Son (Genesis 1:1-31). “[ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM]; and [WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT ANYTHING MADE] that was made” (John 1:3). The Apostle Paul admonished ALL human beings, said: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye [PRESENT YOUR BODIES A LIVING SACRIFICE], holy, acceptable unto God, [WHICH IS YOUR REASONABLE SERVICE]” (Romans 12:1). DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE to REJECT God the Father and His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ because ALL human beings must stand before God and Jesus for the DAY OF JUDGMENT on the LAST DAY (John 3:16-18) (Revelation 20:11-15)! When our Lord Jesus Christ COMES on the LAST DAY at the END OF THE WORLD, the prophet Daniel foretold said: “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, [SOME TO EVERLASTING LIFE], and [SOME TO SHAME AND EVERLASTING CONTEMPT]” (Daniel 12:2). Our Lord Jesus Christ explained in detail the events of that day in the parables of the tares of the field and the sheep and the goats saying: “He that [SOWETH THE GOOD SEED] is the Son of man; the field is the world; the [GOOD SEED ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE KINGDOM]; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; the enemy that sowed them is the Devil; the harvest is the [END OF THE WORLD]; and [THE REAPERS ARE THE ANGELS]. #DailyDevotions Hearing Jesus’ Voice, January 8 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.—John 5:39. {HB 23.1} God speaks to us in His word. Here we have in clearer lines the revelation of His character, of His dealings with us, and the great work of redemption. Here is open before us the history of patriarchs and prophets and other holy believers of old. They were “subject to like passions as we are.” (James 5:17.) We see how they struggled through discouragements like our own, how they fell under temptation as we have done, and yet took heart again and conquered through the grace of God; and, beholding, we are encouraged in our striving after righteousness. As we read of the precious experiences granted them, of the light and love and blessing it was theirs to enjoy, and of the work they wrought through the grace given them, the spirit that inspired them kindles a flame of holy emulation in our hearts and a desire to be like them in character—like them to walk with God. {HB 23.2} Jesus said of the Old Testament Scriptures—and how much more is it true of the New—“They are they which testify of Me,” the Redeemer, Him in whom our hopes of eternal life are centered. (John 5:39.) Yes, the whole Bible tells of Christ. From the first record of creation—for “without Him was not anything made that was made”—to the closing promise, “Behold, I come quickly,” we are reading of His works and listening to His voice. (John 1:3; Revelation 22:12.) If you would become acquainted with the Saviour, study the Holy Scriptures. {HB 23.3} Fill the whole heart with the words of God. They are the living water, quenching your burning thirst. They are the living bread from heaven. Jesus declares, “Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.” And He explains Himself by saying, “The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:53, 63) Our bodies are built up from what we eat and drink; and as in the natural economy, so in the spiritual economy: it is what we meditate upon that will give tone and strength to our spiritual nature. {HB 23.4} The theme of redemption is one that the angels desire to look into; it will be the science and the song of the redeemed throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity.
