How much do we long for tomorrow to come and bring our dreams and aspirations today? Amid the challenges of every day, it brings us a sense of relief, knowing that hope is never far from us. Our sighs and cries never go unheard, and our deepest fears and pain are not secret to the Lord. We may feel reluctant to approach God for all we have done, much less ask the Lord after a wrong decision or action. The Lord loves and cares for us all the same; his compassion does not diminish or increase with how we live and treat Him in sin. His patience does not subside every moment we ignore and run away from Him, and his grace does not fall short of covering every area of our aching hearts and soul day by day. The Lord feels our hurts and pain and hears our cries for help. Let us cast upon Him all our cares for "... God demonstrates his love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus' death on the cross and His resurrection was founded on the Father's love for us, not our circumstances that change from time to time. God's forgiveness flows from His throne of mercy like a river that washes our sins away, giving us freedom from guilt and the confidence to wait upon the Lord to receive all He has prepared for each one who trusts Him. So, whether today or tomorrow, let us always remember the Lord never fails to bring His promises to fulfillment in us and through us so that we may enjoy the Lord's loving kindness in the land of the living as salt and light to the world. 1 Peter 5:7 NIV Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Psalm 34:17 NIV The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. #daybyday #suffering #victory #joy #GraceAndMercy #graceandmercy #jesussaves #God #godisgood #holy #HolySpirit

There are a lot of things to be worried about. We could list a few… but that’ll probably just freak you out, and doubtless, some of your own ideas have already come to mind anyways. We all have moments of worry. And, we know that God has called us to cast our anxieties onto him, as he cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Buuut, sometimes our pesky brain chemistry doesn’t make it so easy. Our bodies can physically respond to legitimate worries and anxieties in a way that starts to feel really scary and out of control. If frequent panic attacks are hurting your ability to be at peace in everyday life, please reach out for help. Maybe even to a medical professional. While returning to a place of calm during a panic attack can sometimes feel pretty impossible, here’s a prayer to put on repeat that has helped us find our way through some difficult moments: 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you” (2 Thessalonians 3:16). 𝐀 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 Defeater of demons, give me your peace. As my chest tightens, surround me with the strength of your Spirit. As my breath becomes shallow, let me feel the breath of your life flow through me. Minister to me in truth, even as anxiety and panic attack me. Slow my thoughts to become in sync with your abiding presence. Guard my heart. Help me find rest in your arms. Amen. #prayer #dailyprayer #dailydevotional #verseoftheday #christianliving #reclaimtoday
